| Irieni's Room
Books of all descriptions, masks and skeletal animals line the walls of this vaulted stone chamber. A chandelier of wrought black metal, suspended in the centre of the room, provides a dim cream light. A heavily draped canopy bed stands next to several leather-padded chairs and a low oriental looking black lacquer table. There is a rich blood red carpet lying upon the stone floor. A copper jug and several tall glasses stand upon the table. The most striking feature of the room however, is a large glass window easily 12ft wide, in the wall opposite the door. A dark, lightning filled, alien landscape lies beyond the window. Despite this, the room has a calm, warming feel to it. Standing beside the window is a square mahogany table and two highbacked chairs. A black silk cloth covers the table, upon which stands a deck of cards. A small note lies next to the cards which reads "Mia, I am on faction business at present, but will be able to teach you the basics of the taroka upon my return. Irieni". Trinity enters and glances at Irieni, "You summoned me..." Irieni says, "Ah Trinity" Cruzzzhel says, "greetings Trinity" Thanurel says, "greetings Trinity" Trinity nods to Than and Cruz Thanurel gets up Thanurel says, "Thank you Irieni." Irieni gathers the cards up Irieni nods Thanurel says, "I must take my leave now. I have business to attend to. Farewell" Irieni says, "You needn't make a donation" Irieni smiles Irieni says, "Good day" Thanurel disappears in a burst of cold, black flames leaving ice crystals on the floor where he stood Irieni smiles at Trinity Irieni says, "Please take a seat" Cruzzzhel says, "do you have time to do a reading of me" Irieni says, "Yes, quickly, but I must do one for trinity" Irieni says, "I will do you first Cruzz" Cruzzzhel sits down Irieni says, "But if you want something indepth, it would be best to wait until later" Cruzzzhel says, "I can wait" Cruzzzhel says, "I will watch you give trin a reading." Irieni nods Irieni says, "Indeed" Irieni says, "Trinity has many issues pending" Trinity takes a seat in front of Iri Irieni looks to trinity Cruzzzhel says, "never hurts to observe new magic." Irieni shuffles the cards You say, "Nice appearal Irieni" Trinity takes her shades off, setting them on the table Irieni says, "I had just woke up then alot of people came in my room" Irieni says, "I like this gown, it makes me look like a ghost" Trinity raises her eyebrow slightly Cruzzzhel says, "especially with the mask where did you get it by the way." Irieni places the cards on the table, and turns over the centre card You say, "I have a nasty tendency to sleep in what I wear on my back, but that has become less of a problem of late" Irieni says, "I had it made by a crafts person in the bazzaar" Cruzzzhel says, "must have been a master craftsman" Trinity nods, "I aprove, very striking" Irieni says, "I also have a mask of adamantite inset with black opals for special occasions" Cruzzzhel says, "ooh that must of cost a pretty penny" Irieni says, "Blade paid for it, he has acrued much wealth over the years" Cruzzzhel looks as if thinking and pulls out a copper coin and chews on it. Irieni turns over the center card The Mists Irieni says, "This represents you" Irieni says, "Unfathomable, and unknowing" Trinity grins Irieni says, "Shrouded in secrecy and veils of illusion" Irieni turns over all of the other cards one by one Irieni looks at the cards Irieni points to the far right card the Thief Irieni says, "This is your ally" Irieni says, "It is an evil card" Irieni says, "but I think that you may be able to use stealth to avoid your problems" Irieni says, "Perhaps it is not wise to tackle them head on" Irieni says, "You will be hindered by the forces of nature" Irieni points to the next card The Druid You say, "And hindered by forces such as light...." Irieni says, "This element will hinder your stealth" Irieni says, "and perhaps yourself" Irieni says, "The druid has no quarrel with you directly, he is not your enemy, it is a fact that he opposes what may aid you" Irieni says, "I belive that this is only an aspect of the greater picture" Irieni points to the far left The Guildsman Irieni says, "This is your enemy" Irieni turns over another card and places it next to the Guildsman Thw Wizard Irieni says, "It is a collection of magic wielders that will oppose you" Trinity looks slightly aggitated.... Irieni says, "But, they are unable to reach you, for you are trapped" Irieni points to the Donjon Irieni says, "Whether it is for good or ill, The Donjon is a binding or place which prevents them from reaching you" Irieni says, "Perhaps they are outside of the cage, with no way to get in" Irieni points to the distant past The Missionary Irieni says, "A preacher or religious force of goodness" Irieni turns over a card and places it next to the preacher The traitor You say, "That cannot be good" Irieni says, "This force was corrupted by a being of chaos and evil" Irieni says, "The good force was tricked and changed" Irieni points to the next card The Horseman Irieni says, "This could mean that the being died as a result, or, that it represents the deaths of others in your ecent past" Irieni says, "Either way, the force of goodness was altered in some dark way" Irieni looks to the future Irieni points at the next card, The Necromancer Irieni says, "Your immediate future shows dark magic at work" Irieni says, "You will be influenced by such magic, or you yourself will be the source" Irieni turns over a card and places it next to the Necromancer Irieni frowns Irieni says, "The Hangman" Irieni says, "This magic will alter you in some irreperable way" Irieni says, "It is a change, but not for good" Irieni points to the last card The Philanthropist Irieni says, "This is your ultimate future" Irieni says, "You will be of benefit to the needy" Trinity blinks Irieni says, "But in some unknown way" Irieni turns over another card The Rogue Irieni says, "You will use cunning to help your quest" Irieni says, "and stealth" Irieni turns over yet another card The Marionette Trinity gazes upon the cards emotionlessly, but her presence can still be felt within the room, and it reaks of death.... Irieni says, "This good work will be at the will of another" Irieni says, "Perhaps for ill ends" Irieni says, "This is all I see" Irieni looks up Trinity stands up, placing her shades back on Irieni says, "Not a very nice reading, but I believe quite accurate" Trinity nods silently Irieni looks up at trinity, and gathers the cards together Cruzzzhel blinks You say, "Thank you my friend" Cruzzzhel stands Irieni says, "You are welcome" Irieni stands Cruzzzhel says, "i must be going that was most interesting," Irieni says, "Please make a donation to the dustmen" Irieni says, "Perhaps a reading another time Cruzzzhel" Cruzzzhel says, "yes another time... :-)" Irieni smiles Irieni says, "I must be getting dressed" You say, "Of course, is that what you summoned me for..." Irieni says, "I hope this has given you a few more answers" You say, "Slightly, and many more questions, as usual...." Irieni says, "Is it inevitably does" You say, "I bid you farewell, thank you again my friend" Irieni says, "Farewell, I will see you soon" Irieni smiles Irieni says, "I have faction business to attend to" Trinity places a small bag of jink on the table, "I trust you will take this donation to the proper location for me," before she exits the room |
