| ------ Trinity's and Delguran's Exchange ------ |
| Chaos Soup: Offices
The door you just past trough lead to the all purpose office of the "Chaos Soup". The walls are colored with a multitude of meaningless paintings, except for a board where numerous notes, adds and warrants are pinned. In the middle of it all is a wooden table surrounded by used chairs. There is a specific one for every member and a lot of others for visitors, who are always welcomed. A rocking chair stands next to a bookshelf, fulled of books, and a small table, all of them same soft wood. In the far left corner, a door blocks the way to the second floor, where the members rests. On the far right, another black door stands with the word 'Meeting Room' on it. Between the two doors is a bar, incrusted in the wall. Delguran enters Trinity is sitting in her rocking chair, gently swaying as she reads a dark covered tome. Delguran bows Trinity lowers her book, and upon seeing Del, puts it away Delguran says, "Greetings Trinity" Trinity stands up and approaches the table. Delguran can't help but feel a wave of unease as Trinity approaches.... You say, "Greetings" Delguran says, "How has the cage been treating you since last we met?" Trinity places two halberds upon the table, they are finely crafted You say, "Very well.... I believe we have some business to attend to" Delguran oh yes of course You say, "They are specialy designed against baatezu" Delguran says, "Two? thats all for an ancient one of a kind tome?" You say, "They have three enchantments to aid in there task...." Trinity says, "No, of course not, I was thinking what you may offer for these weapons, if you are interested of course." Delguran perks up, "what enchantments?" You say, "All against baatezu, they are only normal weapons against other foes, if not finely crafted" Delguran says, "Hmmmmmm. A couple of nice weapons..." You say, "The first enchantment increases damage against Baatezu, the second weakens their defenses, and the third allows them to strike at any Baatezu.... none of which deminish as they cross planar boundaries" Delguran says, "i see, only two?" Trinity shrugs, "If you do not wish them...." Trinity goes to pick them back up Delguran says, "It just seems an uneven trade" Trinity sighs, "I said I was interested in what you would be willing to trade for these...." Delguran says, "oh....I thought we were sticking to the old agreement. My mistake" Delguran opens his catalog Delguran begins thumbing through it Delguran says, "Hmmmm...... let me see" Delguran says, "How bout a pair of sunglasses" Delguran grins Trinity raises an eyebrow slightly, "What would they perform..." Delguran says, "they protect the wearer from the ill effects of the sun...." Delguran says, "or of bright light" You say, "Why would I need those..." Delguran smiles Delguran says, "I guess I was mistaken, I took you to be one of the /clan/." Delguran grins again You say, "Is there anything else you may be willing to trade..." Trinity says, "The clan..." Delguran says, "you know....Nosferatu" You say, "I assume you meen vampire, no..." Delguran smiles widely You say, "Why do you refer to them as the Clan..." Delguran says, "Have you not heard it refered to this way? Maybe it is a forgotten prime saying..." Delguran looks down at his catalog Delguran once again begins thumbing through it in search of an item to trade You say, "I have heard vague references to one prime, however, those where not typical vampires...." Delguran says, "ahh...yes....here it is." You say, "Yes" Delguran says, "Um...how about.....some....blood jars?" You say, "And those are..." Delguran says, "they keep blood freshly stores for up to two weeks" You say, "I prefer to recieve my blood from a living, strugling creature...." Delguran says, "Ah yes of course" Delguran looks at his catalog again Delguran says, "Um well how bout this then...a bubble pipe" You say, "Do you have a pair of matching blades you could trade for these..." Delguran says, "When smoked it creates airy water around the smoker. The you wouldn't have to worry about running water" Trinity just grins Delguran looks up Delguran says, "im sorry did you say something?" You say, "A matching pair of swords, in return for these" Delguran says, "Swords eh? what type?" You say, "Preferably long blades" Delguran looks in his catalog Delguran says, "hmmm" You say, "As I said, a matching set preferably" Delguran says, "Um well Ive got a pair of blades here...but...." You say, "Yes" Delguran says, "Well...no...nevermind...it wouldnt be a fair trade" You say, "Why is that" Delguran says, "Well those halberds are much to weak in comparison" Delguran says, "These swords granted protection and great slaying prowess" You say, "You are telling me that weapons that loose not a single enchantment as they cross the planes are weak..." You say, "I don't supose you have any other paired wepons..." Delguran says, "Hmmmm" Delguran says, "let me see" Delguran says, "um...well...i do have a pair of nice scimitars" You say, "Go on" Delguran says, "They arte silver and enchanted as HOLY weapons. very good against....um...well nevermind..." Delguran says, "Maybe something else then" You say, "Would you be willing to part with them..." Delguran looks again Delguran looks up suddenly Delguran says, "Why would YOU want them?" You say, "Holy weapons are always usefull, would you be willing to trade them..." Delguran rubs his chin You say, "Are they consecrated to any particular deity..." Delguran says, "Yes actually...Kelemvor" You say, "Those would be very usefull to me, can we make a deal..." Delguran says, "hmmm....well I do love those blades....how bout for one of em?" You say, "I need a paired set" Delguran says, "i see.....can you throw anything in with the halberds?" You say, "Only money, or perhaps a debt to be repayed, I have very few magical items...." Delguran says, "Well then, how bout the halberds and a favor to be called later when I need it. You know like guard duty or something....Do we have a deal?" You say, "I would prefer the debt to be decided upon at this time, after all, you already know what you are loosing, it would only be a fair business transaction if I knew as well, no..." You say, "But that arangement does sound agreeable" Delguran says, "I see.....well how bout we call it body guard when I need it? eh?" You say, "That sounds good to me...." Delguran says, "Great then." Trinity extends her hand to shake on the deal Delguran shakes her hand Trinity grins, "My new weapons if you please...." Delguran says, "I must step outside to retrieve them, I shall return momentarily" Delguran bows You say, "Very well" The sound of rumbling stone can be heard from outside. Then sound of screeching metal seconds later. Delguran enters Delguran is carrrying two scimitars Delguran says, "And my halberds?" Trinity pushes the halberds acrost the table towards Delguran Delguran takes them Delguran hands her the swords Delguran says, "A pleasure doing business with you" Trinity grins at the sheathed blades Delguran bows You say, "Yes, truely" Delguran says, "I must attend to business elsewhere, Lady's Grace!" Trinity secrets one of the swords away, then unsheathes the other, examining its fine edge You say, "Farewell" |
