| Chaos Soup: Offices
The door you just past trough lead to the all purpose office of the "Chaos Soup". The walls are colored with a multitude of meaningless paintings, except for a board where numerous notes, adds and warrants are pinned. In the middle of it all is a wooden table surrounded by used chairs. There is a specific one for every member and a lot of others for visitors, who are always welcomed. A rocking chair stands next to a bookshelf, full of books, and a small table, all of them same soft wood. In the far left corner, a door blocks the way to the second floor, where the members rests. On the far right, another black door stands with the word 'Meeting Room' on it. Between the two doors is a bar, incrusted in the wall. Mia smiles at Lilly Rynalas bows, I am exhausted friends, I leave you now, sleepily Trinity looks over her book at Lilly, "Glad to see you made it safely back" Lilly says, "May the shadows cool you down friends" Rynalas looks at Lilly and smiles Lilly says, "I am glad to have found you here Trinity" Mia looks sick and weak, but happy and calm Rynalas mutters to Trinity, "... go..." Rynalas whispers "Who's that! She's well, um, very pretty. Think she'd go for a Gith?" Trinity looks coldly at Ryn, "She is an old friend" Mia keeps her hand in Trin's hair Lilly says, "What has happened here?" Lilly says, "You seem to have changed a bit, Trinity" Mia smiles at Lilly, meeting her for the first time Mafioso says, "Have we met?" Rynalas bows, "Good evening ladies, AND MAF," then turns to Lilly, "And you miss, I hope to see you again" You say, "Yes I have Lilly, your trip go well..." Mafioso offers his hand to Lilly Lilly smiles Lilly looks at Mafiosos hand Lilly takes his hand and waits to see what happens Mafioso shakes her hand Lilly says, "Strange habit" Lilly says, "Is that a welcome ritual?" Mafioso mutters, "Bloody clueless...." Lilly says, "Excuse me?" Mafioso says, "Nothing" Lilly says, "Are you calling moi a clueless?" Lilly smiles Mafioso grins weakly Trinity grins behind her book Lilly looks at the book Mia is still sit in the rocking chair, playing with Trin's hair, who's sitting on the floor next to her Lilly frowns as she tries to read the cover Lilly shrugs and continues the conversation Mafioso departs, "evening all" Lilly looks around Lilly says, "Slippery fellow that Mafioso" Trinity lowers her book, "You never answered, how did your trip to Athas go..." Lilly says, "Am I interupting something Trinity" You say, "Not at all" Lilly says, "Could you at least put the book down then?" Mia keeps playing with Trin's hair Trinity contiues reading, "I can read and carry on a conversation without difficulty, oh, and nice shades. Lilly says, "It went well" Lilly says, "They came in handy... Thank you for the idea" Trinity nods, "Glad to be of assistance, you were looking for someone there..." Lilly says, "I went through the Shadow-plane as one of you suggested" You say, "Nasty place, don't you agree" Lilly says, "And I would like to thank you for the help you gave me at the court" Lilly says, "I had The Spot to help me" Lilly says, "But it gives me the creeps all the same" You say, "Of course, I always seek to assist friends" Mia doesn't understand but seems too weak to wonder... Lilly says, "I want to explain things to Errin. Do you know where I could find him?" Lilly says, "I bet he didn't like me breaking out of prison..." Lilly gives a weak smile You say, "Hospitalized, poisoned, you couldn't speak to him even if you where in the same room unfortunately" You say, "He was rather upset...." Lilly says, "Oh dear. Poisoned?" Lilly says, "By whom?" You say, "Something from the lower planes, by an unknown individual" Lillys eyes glow a bit You say, "Quite nasty poison...." Mia closes her eys Mia lowers her head, slowly Lilly says, "Do you know what sort of creature did this?" You say, "A friend is keeping him in a time-dead area just to keep him alive" You say, "No, I do not" You say, "Mon amour, are you well" Mia seems to move her head a bit Lilly says, "I haven't met your lover, have I?" You say, "You wish me to take you upstairs, to bed" Lilly looks at Mia Mia moves her head a bit You say, "My appologizes, to both of you, but both stories are rather lengthy, as you could imagine" Lilly says, "Can I help in any way?" You say, "I doubt it, Mia is rather ill" Lilly says, "I will go and seek Errin" Lilly says, "I might help him" Trinity sets her book on the floor, then stands, "Shall I take you up mon amour..." Lilly says, "We Eldarin posses special healing powers against poisons" You say, "Wait for me then" Mia seems to have fainted Lilly says, "Can I get you something?" You say, "I can show you where he is" Lilly says, "Some water perhaps" Trinity picks Mia up, carrying her up the steps Lilly looks at Mia
After a short while Trinity returns from upstairs Lower Ward: Gear Run Called by some "Little Mechanus", this is where many of Sigil's rogue modrons end up. They seem to make a good living here selling various clockwork trinkets, like wind-up dabus and reliable clocks. One shop even showcases a working clockwork swordsman, who waves in a cheerful fashion to the onlookers. Although the air is almost a solid, this seems to be a very happy place. A light, slushy drizzle rains down upon Sigil. From a side street you see a strange sight A ghost like figure walks the streets Trinity raises an eyebrow Its bright red armor reminds you of someone The ghostly figure walks toward the both of us As it comes closer you see more detail It is Errin. But he seems sad and translucent Trinity waits in anticipation He opens his mouth...and closes it again You say, "What is it" He seems to ignore Lilly He walks toward Trin He spreads his arms as one would do to embrace... Trinity opens her arms as well Errin walks towards you but stumbles and drops right through you Trinity makes a futile attempt to embrace him Errin seems to ignore your attemps to embrace him His eyes are filled with translucent tears as he slumbers on Trinity then kneels, saddened You wonder where he is going... Trinity follows Errin, silently He seems to be heading straight to the rim of Sigil Lilly changes into a ball of light and follows Errin You say, "No Errin, please don't" Errin enters a small alley which is known as lovers leap It is one of the few alleys which run to the rim Normally the enitre rim is built full with buildings Trinity slumps to the ground, a few tears running down her cheeks Errin commits his selfish deed, plummeting through the void.... Lilly floats over the rim Trinity closes her eyes, lying on the ground, crying Lilly floats back in a sad slow motion Lilly changes back into her humanoid self Lilly says, "Why? Couldn't he have waited..." Lilly says, "There must have been something we could have done" Lilly walks over to Trinity Trinity wipes the tears away, but still lies there Lilly sits down next to Trinity Lilly says in a soft caring voice, "Shall I take you back to Mia?" You say, "I will recover" Lilly says, "You are strong" Lilly says, "I see that in you" Lilly says, "But it seems you have had quite a few mental beatings lately" Trinity sits up, regaining her usual, emotionless stare into nothingness Lilly looks at her emotionless eyes Lilly says, "Please, don't shut it all in" You say, "I am growing used to them, seems my whole existance is full of them" Lilly says, "Cry it out" Trinity takes a deep breath, "I am better now" Lilly says, "I can't tell you what to do" Lilly says, "But I think you should talk to your friends" You say, "There is little to speak of" Lilly says, "What shall we do now?" Lilly says, "Where was Errin?" Lilly says, "Where were you going to lead me?" You say, "Someone told me he was at the Calculation Centre, so Joseph could take better care of him" You say, "Problem is, I only know it is within Automata, not where" Lilly says, "Shall we go look for it?" You say, "Yes" Lilly says, "We could always ask people there..." You say, "Through that portal" Trinity throws a small amount of oil through an archway.... A bright flash of light, and a portal shimmers, as it opens.
The two then take the portal to Automata
The two proceed down Order Way Calculation Centre This is the reception hall of one of the Mathematicians' great, marble calculation centress. A large stairway on the room's other end leads up to the second level of the building. A large marble counter sits next to the main entrance, with a large placard on it reading "Reception." The hall leads to many small, open offices where countless young student can be seen scurrying about scratching out notes on large quantities of paper. Several signs line the walls, with directions pointing off into the maze of chambers, each with names like "Pi-Calculation," "Spire Questions," "Business Accountancy," and one pointing to a guarded door on the room's far wall, "Sterile Magic Room." After entering the Centre They see Joseph standing in the hallway Joseph walks towards the two way You say, "Joseph" You say, "We seek Errin, how does he fare" Joseph: "Good day, ladies Joseph: "Very good, actually Joseph: "I wanted to tell you, but you got here earlier Joseph: "I have some good news" Joseph: "A high-priestess of Tyr has cast a mighty spell on him" You say, "Yes" Joseph: "I didn't think it was possible, but she managed to split his soul and body" Joseph: "You should now be able to see him" Trinity frowns Joseph: "But his soul has gone out for the moment" Joseph: "He wanted to see the outside he said" You say, "Um, we are aware of that" Joseph: "I can imagine that..." Joseph: "You have seen him?" A Tannar'ri comes slithering in It is a Marilith Trinity looks away from Joseph, "Is there a way to retrieve his soul" Joseph: "How do you mean?" Joseph: "Do you mean a way to get his body and soul united" You say, "Can you call his soul back to his body, even if it is a great distance away" Joseph: "I think we should revive his body, when it is better and let the soul get into his body" Joseph: "No that's the strangest thing" Trinity eyes the fiend with an ice cold stare Joseph smiles You say, "What is that" Joseph: "All magic seems to float off him" Joseph: "He can't be affected by any spell we have tried" Joseph: "Isn't it marvelous?" Joseph: "Think of the possibilities!" Trinity looks Jo in the eyes, "He lept off Sigil, into the infinate plummet down the Spire" Julia: "What?" Joseph: "Off the spire?" You say, "From the edge of Sigil" Joseph: "Well, even if I could cast a spell on him, I couldn't do it on that ring of the outlands." Joseph looks remorsefull Trinity sighs Joseph: "You have seen him jump off Sigil" You say, "Me and Lilly saw it" Julia: "That's terrible" Joseph: "Why?" Joseph: "We were so close" Trinity sits on the cold floor Joseph: "Can I get you anything?" You say, "No thank you" Julia: "I think we should still proceed" Joseph: "And then we have an empty shell?" Joseph: "What good will that do?" Julia: "I don't know" Julia: "Maybe his soul will feel a sort of pull toward the living body" You say, "We have to do something" Joseph: "Well. I can't keep the spell on all the time" You say, "An empty shell is more then we have now" Joseph: "We have to get the body working" Joseph: "You are right" Lilly says, "Can we see Errin?" Joseph: "Yes" Joseph: "Would you like to see him too Trinity?" Trinity stands up, almost instantly You say, "Take us" Joseph: "I have to ask you a few questions first" Trinity sighs Joseph: "Do you have spellcasting capablilities?" Joseph: "Sorry it's a standard list...I have to complete it..." You say, "Who, me or Lilly" Joseph: "The both of you" Lilly says, "Well I am not a spellcaster if that is what you mean" You say, "You have already seen me cast a spell" Joseph: "Please inform me of all spells you are planning to cast" Joseph: "It might disrupt the field." You say, "I don't plan on casting anything" Joseph: "I have set up a rather delicate field which I can maintain longer..." Joseph: "Ok...second question...Do you have any magical items on you?" Lilly says, "Yes..." You say, "A couple" Joseph: "There are two things I can do" Joseph: "Either you can keep them in a safe here" Joseph: "Or I can cast a shielding magic over them" Trinity says "shielding magic would be better" Lilly says, "I think I will leave my bastard sword wout" Lilly gives the big bastard sword to Joseph You say, "But Whisper can stay here" Joseph drags the sword to Julia and gives it to her You say, "He can take care of himself" Joseph: "Right" Joseph: "What kind of magic is it?" Joseph: "If I might ask?" You say, "A ring that keeps me conected to Mia, my gloves which grant me movement free of hindrances, and a special dimensional pocket which is my pouch" Julia goes somewhere to put the bastard sword Joseph: "The ring, is it magically or psionicly enchanted?" You say, "Magic I believe" Joseph: "Can you do without the pocket. That's rather a tricky item to shield" You say, "It is already shieled by itself, so it can travel from plane to plane" Joseph: "Does the ring allow you to talk to her, or is it only a way of knowing you are both alive?" Joseph says: "If you don't know for sure, I'll have to cast some magic on it first..." You say, "Both, it allows me to speak with her and gives me a location and general health of her" Joseph: "And that over several planes of exsistance?" Julia: "I think you will be needing my help on that one" Julia: "Sorry, I have not properly introduced myself" Julia: "It was because of the circumstances" You say, "You must be Julia, Joseph speaks of you often" Julia: "My name is Julia, I am Josephs wife" Julia: "Oh does he now?" Julia shows a faint smile You say, "All good things of course...." Julia: "I hoped so" Joseph: "Of course, what else is there to say about you" Julia: "You haven't been bragging about me have you" Joseph: "Not yet..." Joseph: "Have I told you about the time she...." Julia extends one of her six arms and holds Josephs mouth Lilly snickers Trinity grins You say, "Shall we proceed" Joseph: "Yes" Joseph: "Will you help me Julia" Julia: "Of ourse" Julia and Joseph both raise their pointing fingers They begin writing in air. All kinds of equations form in the air. The equations begin to intertwine and soon they are both working on the same formula. The equation forms a big web. The web floats toward you and clings to all magic items you posses. The web shrinks and all that remains are spheric Bessel functions around your magic items. Joseph: "and now you Lilly" Joseph: "do you have anything to declare?" Lilly says, "No that was it" Joseph: "Ok...third question" Joseph: "Do any of you posses psionic or wild-psionic powers" Lilly says, "I almost do" You say, "Not I" Lilly says, "I have been studying wall-theory and focus-point theory" Lilly looks proud of herself Joseph: "You know Diana Midnova?" Trinity grins Lilly says, "Yes!" Lilly says, "But how do you know her?" Lilly says, "Ham and pie sandwitch?" Joseph: "What do you mean?" Lilly says, "I just felt like one" Joseph: "Well...anyway" Joseph: "If you do focus point theory you should be alright" Trinity shrugs Joseph: "We are now ready to enter" Joseph walks toward the Serene magic Chamber He opens the big vault door Trinity follows Joseph looks at Trinity, "Huh....I think one of the magic items was rejected" Joseph: "It appears to be the ring..." Joseph: "I will work on a way to shield the ring..." You say, "Oh, well, Mia is not well, I should go check in on her" Lilly says, "Good luck" Joseph: "I will work on the ring" You say, "When you discover the method, you know where to find me, thank you" |

Trinity is sitting in her rocking chair, gently swaying as she reads a dark covered tome Joseph walks in with big strides As Joseph enters the door he immediately looks at Trinity Joseph says, "Ah, glad to see you here Trinity" Joseph says, "You wanted to help me, help Errin" Trinity puts her book away into her pouch, "Greetings Joseph" Joseph says, "Is that correct?" You say, "That is correct" Joseph says, "I have to collect some mirrors from someone." Trinity stands up, "How may I be of service..." Joseph says, "They are vital to the mission into Errins body" Joseph says, "Can you come with me?" You say, "I see, how shall we locate this individual..." Joseph says, "It is dangerous for a spellcaster to travel alone..." You say, "Of course I will assist you" Joseph says, "I know where this person lives" Joseph smiles Joseph mumbles something to himself You say, "Where do we go from here..." Joseph says, "Do you know the Astral?" You say, "Never actually travelled there, I have only read of it" Joseph says, "So you have no Astral travelling experience?" You say, "No" Joseph says, "Do you mind accompanying me to the Astral?" You say, "It is not very difficult however, relying upon thought...." You say, "Of course not" Joseph says, "We will go through Mechanus" Joseph looks at Trinity, expecting that this might bother her. You say, "As you wish" Trinity shows no sign of any emotion, as usual Joseph says, "Do you need to make any preperations?" You say, "I am prepared" Joseph says, "Ok...Let's head to Automata first then" You say, "Of course" Trinity heads for the door Joseph follows Trinity
Automata: The Gate to Mechanus Home to a fantastic queue of people centered on getting to the Portal, each constantly harassed by a crowd of Modrons asking for permits and forms and an embassy from the Council of Order asking to have surveys filled out, the Gate to Mechanus is the city's center. Watching a sod new to Automata trying to get in is some of the best entertainment to be found in the city. A great statue, beautiful in a militaristic way, is built around a fountain in the square's center, portraying a miniaturized version of the last Modron March. The modrons see Joseph and recognize him. They all move away from the portal. Joseph moves toward the portal Trinity walks beside Joseph and slightly behind him A drone walks up and looks at Joseph Joseph says, "I am Joseph Fourier and seek entrance into Mechanus" Trinity eyes the drone coldly Joseph says, "I have aquired the right to do so by joining the Mathmaticians guild and holding to the stricked rules that follow with the membership" Joseph says, "I am still in debt with your leaders, for saving a great portion of Mechanus." Joseph says, "One of my requests is, that I may accompany this lady through the portal" The drone seems to consider this request After a long silence the drone steps aside and says, "Welcome to Mechanus Joseph" Joseph Joseph steps through the portal and dissapears while looking back at Trinity. Trinity quickly follows Joseph Trinity and Joseph find themselves standing on a very large gear On this gear there is a great fortress...The Fortress of Disciplined Enlightment You say, "I assume that is where we are headed" Joseph says, "This is The Fortress of Disciplined Enlightment. Ever been there?" Joseph says, "It is just a small portion of the route." You say, "I don't get out very much...." The Fortress looks very large and stretches so far that you can hardly see the top Joseph starts walking over the gear towards the main gates Joseph says, "Getting into the fortress might prove more difficult" Joseph says, "Do you understand magic?" You say, "Mildly, why..." It is hard to imagine people call this the plane of law, as there are gears all over the place in almost imposible to see order. Joseph says, "I have to give you an excuse for entering" Joseph and Trinity near the Fortress gates Two guards stand beside the large gates. They stand absolutly still Joseph walks up to the guards Trinity follows closely behind They both call, "HALT!", in harmony and cross there weapons in front of Joseph One of the guards now takes the lead and continues, "Who are you bringing into the Fortress?" Joseph says, "I am bringing an apprentice. I will teach her magic inside the Calculation Center" The guard looks at Joseph, "She doesn't wear a Mathmaticians Initiates Badge" Joseph says, "True", camly, "She is not a Mathmatician" The guard is startled by this answer, "But..you said this was your apprentice?" Joseph says, "She has a type of casting unknown to me. I will study it, and I will give her magic-lessons in return" Trinity stands to the rear of Joseph, unmoving and emotionless The guard seems to buy the answer and they raise there weapons Joseph says, "Thank you" Joseph walks through the great gates Trinity follows without hesitation Inside the fortress all the people walk on the right side of the street Nobody seems to violate that rule. The streets are straight and broad. Joseph walks straight to the calculation centre Trinity simply follows Jospeh, without taking anytime to glance around at her suroundings Joseph says, "It might surprise you to know that we have set up a calculation center here too" You say, "It is the Mathmaticians Guild...." Joseph says, "Yes...But the calculation center is specific to my wife and me" You say, "I see" Joseph arrives at the calculation center, which looks even bigger than the one in Automata It is several stories high, and there is a gold plate on it. The golden plate reads: 'for saving mechanus and the rest of the multiverse' Joseph opens the door and invites Trinity in Trinity nods then enters the door The calculation center in Automata seems to be a bad copy of the one here. The entrance hall is larger than a very large ballroom The marble floor seems to reflect like a white mirror There are several offices in the distance, but a large stairway fills up you view. Joseph says, "We will now commence to the Astral" You say, "Very well" Joseph walks up the large marble stairway Joseph says, "Follow my path carefully" Trinity proceeds up the stairway also Joseph says, "For if you take a wrong turning you might get lost in the Labirinth" You say, "I'll be sure and keep that in mind, thank you" Joseph reaches the top of the stairway There are three doors on each side: to the left, to the right and to the front Joseph says, "Welcome to the Laberintine portal" Joseph says, "Have you ever heard of it?" You say, "I recal hearing of these" Joseph says, "It's like the Stairway of Ysgard" Joseph says, "Just follow me and you will be alright" You say, "Suposedly they lead anywhere you wish to go upon Mechanus, you simply must follow the coresct path" Joseph says, "That is basicly right." Joseph says, "And because all kind of portals exist in Mechanus" Joseph says, "You can go anywhere you choose" Joseph says, "And because this labirinth is set in Mechanus it has to obey certain rules" Joseph says, "Which I can calculate" You say, "Mathematicians try to figure out this path to take them to that which they ultimately desire, burried deep within Mechanus" Joseph says, "Not all mathmaticians desire the same thing" Joseph hushes his voice, "I am not a very good mathmatician myself You say, "But, suposedly, anything can be found within Mechanus" Joseph says, "I don't believe that everything can be found withing Mechanus" Joseph says, "Infact I am about to discover that this isn't true" You say, "I don't think so either, what use would the other planes be then...." Joseph says, "I just can't find the heart to tell my collegues" Joseph says, "I won't go into all the specifics" Joseph says, "But you can't for example find Limbo inside Mechanus" Trinity grins, "Only pieces of Arcadia...." Joseph says, "That is true, but they are not Arcadia anymore." Joseph says, "Their true Arcadian nature is lost." Joseph says, "I am still looking into that" You say, "That would be interesting to see, a tree-covered gear...." Joseph says, "I will show you another time" Joseph says, "This will be the last section of portals we will be going through" You say, "Yes, we have business at hand now" Without any thought Joseph and Trinity have stepped through many many portals. Joseph and Trinity keep comming into new rooms with three new doors. Joseph takes the last door to the right and when he opens it, you see Astral void through the opening Joseph motions Trinity to go first Trinity enters through the last archway and into the Astral
Astral Floating in nothingness, all you see around your are silvery tubes and threads, slowly moving about. It's almost impossible to tell if they're a few feet away or several hundred miles. Here and there you see bits of rock, or what seems to be a corps. All in all, this place deserves the name "The Silvery Void". The Astral void is all around. Looking back the door from Mechanus can still be seen Joseph floats out of the door The door slams shut and dissapears Trinity quickly and effortlessly twist to face Joseph Out of nothing a silver cord connects Joseph to infinity Joseph looks around Joseph moves in swift and easy movements Joseph says, "Follow me. Think of a great round citadel and of me" Trinity follows Joseph effortlessly and with great speed Joseph is amazed at the speed of Trinity Joseph says, "I wouldn't mind having you as an apprentice" Joseph says, "You seem quite capable" Trinity grins Out of the sivery void a firgure appears You say, "I come with alot of surprises...." It moves with great speed toward the two In no time it is close enough to see what it is A Githyanki And he doesn't seem to be in a good mood. The Githyanki draws his sword and positions himself beneath Trinity and Joseph Trinity to in between the gith and Joseph, protecting her companion Joseph begins writing in mid-air Trinity moves to in between the gith and Joseph, protecting her companion Joseph writing begins to glow fiercly in the void... Trinity almost instantly drifts to the gith's rear, positioning herself for a deadly strike upon him should he proceed towards Joseph Trinity takes a defensive pose with Whisper The Githyanki sees the tactic and turns to Trinity, while floating backwards toward Joseph Joseph has not nearly started his spell yet Trinity holds Whisper on her right hand, pointing him towards the gith, and motions for him to advance upon her The gith is picking up speed fast, and is going towards Joseph backwards. He ignores the invitation to start fighting Trinity. In the next instant, Trinity has advanced to within stricking distance of the gith in what seems like a blink of an eye, Whisper already being thrust into the gith's gut The Gith didn't expect this speed and catches the strike on his armor. Whisper cleaves into the armor and blood drips out. The Githyanki seems shocked by the blow Joseph finishes his spell and the equations that he was writing turn red The red equations float with great speed toward the gith's armor The entire armor of the Gith seems to begin glowing a soft red, and you can imagine a smell of burning flesh, which could not be real in the Astral. The Gith whails in pain. As the gith writhes in pains, emiting a pitifull wale out into the silvery void, he fails to notice Trinity quickly striking with Whisper, smashing her staff up the side of his head with astounding force, instantly snaping his neck and sending his smoldering corpse slowing drifting off into the void Joseph blinks at the sight and the floating blood Joseph says, "Let's hope there are not more of them waiting for us." Trinity instantly drifts to Joseph's side once again, "Shall we proceed" Joseph says, "Thank you for saving me" Joseph picks up speed again You say, "It was my pleasure, I just hope we can do the same for Errin" After what seemed like ages floating through the Astral, but couldn't possibly be something comes into view. A large doughnut of some sort On closer inspection there are buildings on the inside of the donut. This all seems awfully familiar, but yet different. There is a small park in the center of the donut. Joseph floats toward the doughnut. Joseph says, "This is where Diana Midnnova lives" Joseph says, "If one can speak about living at all in the Astral plane" You say, "Indeed" Joseph floats toward the small park Joseph says, "I hope I can find her" Lilly plays in a little pond in the park In the middle of the pond there is a fountain, with clear running water Joseph smiles Trinity almost looks happy to see Lilly.... Lilly tries to splash all of the water out of the pond, but fails Lilly says, "Silly pond!" Lilly says, "It isn't working properly!", as she folds her arms in front of her Trinity drifts in front of Lilly, "Good to see you agian my friend, do you know where we may find one Diana Midnnova... Lilly says, "She's teaching disintegration at the moment, but she will be back soon" Lilly futely tries to hold the water in her hands but it dissapears in about five seconds. You say, "We need it with great haste, it is for Errin's well-being" Lilly steps out of the pond and is dry in about five seconds Trinity "kneels" down slightly over the water, taking some water and drinking it Lilly says, "Sure, just go to that building there. She will listen to this." You say, "Thank you, it was good seeing you again" Trinity feels refreshed for a moment, but suddenly in five seconds, her throught is dry again Joseph says, "Don't worry too much about the water" Joseph says, "It is a loop I made for Diana, as a repayment for the mirrors" Trinity "stands" back up, and drifts over to the building Lilly indicated, all with very little actual motion Joseph follows Trinity The buildings are just like a collegue campus Several students are walking allong the ring of the donut Trinity drifts along, ignoreing the seemingly clueless The building is open to all Joseph floats in together with Trinity A large room with a slight slope gives all the students a clear view of Diana Midnnova Diana is a little girl in her young twenties. She is standing in front of a blackboard. There are several chalks floating in the air and writing up all sort of diagrams about psionical powers Diana says, "As you can see focus point theory gives diffrent aproaches to disintegration Diana says, "Not only the normal Telekinetic version is possible, but also all the others" Trinity remains perfectly still, floating a few inches from the ground at the top of the room, not wishing to interupt the discussion Diana says, "Take for instance Metabolism. It is possible using wall theory to use Metabolism to convince the body to fall appart." One of the students holds up his hand Diana says, "Yes Xvyrs?" Xvyrs says, "Excuse me, but I think I might be using two disciplines at the same time..." Diana says, "That's good...I think I want to see that..." Diana says, "Now for something to disintegrate...ah I know" Diana says, "Try to disintegrate me!" You whisper, "Too bad we did not bring that gith...." to Joseph. Xvyrs, who is obviously shocked, says ,"But...." Trinity clears her throst Diana says, "You think you will succeed? Don't worry...You won't" Diana says, "Excuse me a moment class" Diana floats toward Trinity and Joseph Diana says, "Can I help you?" You say, "Joseph...." Diana says, "You want the mirrors don't you?" Joseph says, "Do you have them ready?" You say, "That is what we hoped for" Joseph says, "I need them now..." Diana says, "I am affraid I didn't have the time to complete the whole batch... Diana says, "I was only able to make five" Diana says, "They are quite unique you know." Joseph says, "That will have to do" Joseph says, "I thank you for you effort..." Joseph says, "Where can we find them?" Diana says, "Right here" Diana stretches out her arms, and as she opens the palms of her hands, five mirrors appear out of thin air Joseph takes the mirrors from Diana Joseph says, "You understand that I am in a hurry to return home now..." Diana says, "Yes, you may skip the official etiquette...I know you mean well", as she shows a faint smile Diana says, "Ask Lilly about the portal... She'll know You say, "Perhaps we shall meet again on more pleseant circumstances" You say, "Thank you" Diana says, "Perhaps" Diana says, "You are welcome" Diana says, "I will return to my impatient class now" Diana says, "They want to see me dissapear..." Diana floats toward her class... The two then left the classroom, and visited Lilly once again, who propmtly shoed them the portal which lead back to Sigil.... |
Calculation Centre This is the reception hall of one of the Mathematicians' great, marble calculation centress. A large stairway on the room's other end leads up to the second level of the building. A large marble counter sits next to the main entrance, with a large placard on it reading "Reception." The hall leads to many small, open offices where countless young student can be seen scurrying about scratching out notes on large quantities of paper. Several signs line the walls, with directions pointing off into the maze of chambers, each with names like "Pi-Calculation," "Spire Questions," "Business Accountancy," and one pointing to a guarded door on the room's far wall, "Sterile Magic Room." Trinity begins placing her various weapons within her pouch You see severeal butlers walking through the calculation centre. They walk up to you and ask you if you want anything to drink. You say, "Um, Joseph, once we find the cause of Errin's troubles, what are we suposed to do about it?" Joseph says, "We will see when we find them" Joseph looks rather grim about the whole matter Trinity bows slightly, "Not at this time, thank you...." A small looking human (or is it a halfling) walks into the room. It's Doctor Livingstone. You say, "Ah, doctor, good to see you once again" Joseph says, "Doctor will now tell us a thing or two about the bloodstream. Please listen carefully. We do want to know what we can expect in there." Doctor bows and greets everyone Doctor Livingstone begins with a little cough and then starts with his little lecture, "Because of the local time-dead area you will be entering the bloodstream by a little tube to his arm. We would like to teleport you there, but that was impossible. From the arm you will go up to the heart." Doctor Livingstone continues, "You will find some natural gates there. Those are the doors of the hart. You will have to find some way to get through them. After passing the heart chambers, you will come to the lungs." Doctor Livingstone explains, "There the bloodvessels will become more narrow, so that the blood can exchange gasses. There too, you will have to find a methode to get through. you will then continue back to the heart." You say, "Doctor.... Joseph will be there to guide us...." Doctor Livingstone says, "From the heart, you will enter the Aorta. You will have to take the path to the brains next. I understand that Joseph measured the highest peak of lower planar infuence there. The brain is isolated from the bloodstream so you will have to get out of the bloodstream somehow." Doctor Livingstone finishes, "I have discussed this all with Joseph and he came up with a mathmatical solution. Like always...I guess he will be sharing it with you later on" You say, "Shall we then?" Joseph takes over the attention, "Yes, I have calculated that time-seeping is taking place. This is a very small effect which can be used in our advantage. Because the field is weakening, time is slowly coming back to Errin. But because so much time is missing for Errin, time takes little leaps to catch up. This means there is a discontinuity we can use. I have developed a way to direct these discontinuities to make it able for us to walk through tiny bits of Errin." Joseph finishes, "Are there any questions about what we are about to do?" You say, "Of course not" Joseph nods and knows he has spent to much time already You say, "You are aware I cannot use my magical weapons within him, correct?" Joseph says, "I believe we have been through the door ritual already?" Joseph says, "Well...The field is weakening" You say, "That is what I believe you said once before...." Joseph says, "Meaning you can bring minor items with little power with you" Joseph says, "I am thinking of non-intelligent weapons... better weapons that sort of thing." Joseph says, "What is the most powerfull magic item you have on you?" Trinity takes out and resheathes her two dirks Joseph says, "Two dirks?....Hmmm" Joseph notices he saw no blades on the dirks.... Joseph starts casting a spell by writing extensive characters infront of you The characters sweep slowly around and return to Joseph Joseph nods as he watches the equations in front of him Joseph says, "These should be within given parameters" Joseph walks to the Sterile Magic Chamber's door Joseph opens the large vault door Trinity follows Joseph Joseph closes the first vault door behind them Joseph waits a moment Joseph opens the second vault door, which opens with a Hisssssss As the door slowly opens you see a clear white room. Calculation Centre: Sterile Magic Room The Sterile Magic Room is a completely stripped room - the walls are a very bright white and completely featureless. The room is perfectly square, and in it's center sits a perfectly spherical hole of darkness, in which lies the husk of Errin's body. There is a bloodsack on a pole next to the sphere of darkness, with a bloodline running off into it, apparently disappearing on it's surface. Julia is already in the room Julia says: "Welcome" Trinity smiles at Julia Julia says: "I will be your life-line as it were." Julia hands over a little mirror to everyone Julia says: "What do you see in the mirror?" Trinity smiles again, "I remember these, our way out...." Joseph nods quietly As Trinity speaks the echos nearly deafen all people in the room Julia smiles at the moment Trinity looks at the mirror Trinity looks into the mirror and notices an image of Julia Julia says: "I suggest you don't talk aloud in this room..." Julia says: "The walls reflect almost anything" Trinity speaks considerably softer, "Thank you, I kind of noticed...." Joseph whispers, "Shall we go to Errin then?" You say, "Yes...." Joseph whispers, "When you want out make a strange gesture to Julia" Joseph whispers, "Here are your time-stones", as he hands one to Juleen and one to Trinity Trinity takes the stone, puting on her person, along with the mirror Joseph whispers, "Remember that psionics won't work. I don't know if you posses any." Joseph walks up to Errins Husk Juleen looks away from the body Joseph starts writing intricate symbols in the air Trinity whispers, "We should make haste...." Some of the symbols are actually repressed by something You sense: Juleen nods After some rewriting Joseph finishes the equations and they hang in the air Joseph whispers to the both of you, get closer together Joseph whispers, "There near that bloodsack" Trinity looks at Juleen, then approaches her, a little bit.... Joseph walks over to the bloodsack Juleen looks at Trinity and does the same The equations wrap around the three of them and reduce them many times in size When you open your eyes we are well on our way through a blood channel After being teleported inside Errin's body, you see nothing for a long while, but your eyes eventually adjust to the magical light. It is very quiet, so much so that you can hear your nothing but your own tiny little heart's beating. A sphere of red materializes into vision and seems to be hanging in the void. You clutch at your mirror, realizing it's the only plausible remaining way out. Errin's Husk It is very dark and quiet in here, the husk of Errin's body. The beating of his organs and your own are the only sounds, and almost everything seems to be in darkness. You feel a slight tug from the blood current Joseph tries to speak and all his words travel instantly to your head Joseph says, "Hmm...It seems that time is beginning to work already" Joseph says, "We have to make haste" Juleen nods Trinity looks around Joseph tries to swim around through the red haze Juleen dives in after Joseph You say, "We should get moving, or else something hostile might track us down...." Joseph says, "We must follow that current we just felt" Joseph says, "It should lead us to the heart" Juleen says, "Where are we exactly now?" In the distance you could swear you saw something move...but it could have just as easily been your imagination Juleen mutters to herself, "Tyr,... Show us... save... man..." Joseph says, "We are in the arm now" Juleen nods and starts swimming gracefully with the current After some swimming you realize that there are a lot of muscles in the arm that you normally don't use Trinity sighs, and begins walking along the "floor," as if unhindered by the surrounding blood Juleen says, "I'm glad I learned to swim in the holy sea of the Celestial Mountain.." Joseph says, "That must have been quite an experience!" Juleen says, "Yes, father always made sure that I had the best..." You say, "One which I would rather not try...." Juleen says, "Your loss..." Trinity licks her lips, then smiles Joseph feels uneasy about the growing animosity between the two Trinity passes quickly through the bloodstream.... Joseph suddenly stops and motions for you to stop also. Soon you see way. In the distance you see something moving Juleen stops and gets closer to Joseph It looks black and small, but it slowly slithers closer As it approuches you see it's dark red. It's sort of fish-shaped, with two arms When it sees you, it quickly turns around and swims away at full speed Juleen says, "A sentry?" Trinity crouches low, unsheathing her two dirks, their invisible blades readily visible in the flowing blood Joseph says, "Could be..." Joseph says, "I don't know about these creatures" Joseph says, "They are magical" Juleen says, "Magical creatures in the blood of Errin..." Juleen says, "I don,t like this..." Joseph says, "We'd better not give them much time to prepare our arrival" Trinity quickly chases after the creature.... appearing as a blur as she bolts after it.... The creature is no match for Trinity's speed Trinity leaps at the creature once within striking disdtance, trying to plung her two dirks into it's back as it swims away Juleen is blided by the speed of action... The creature was obviously not made for combat as the two dirks sink deep into it's flesh. You hardly notice the new blood merging with Errins As gravity pulls the creature down, it twitches a last time and doesn't move again Trinity examins the creature as they drift to the "floor" Joseph walks to the creature as well Juleen joins the two Trinity resheathes her dirks, then flips the body over The creature is dark red and looks very much like a fish. The only difference being its two tiny arms His mouth does seem full of nasty teeth though. Juleen steps back and hides behind Joseph Joseph says, "I have never seen anything like it, but then, I have never been inside a body before" Trinity sinks her fangs into it's throat, draining a considerable portion of it's blood Joseph watches in horror Juleen seems to space out a second, looking at the scene, but shakes her head and regains her counsciousness You say, "It is a tanar'ri of some type" Joseph says, "You seem to have a acute sense of taste" You say, "Shall we get moving?" Juleen nods Joseph says, "I think we'd better...." Joseph swims on through the red mists Trinity stands up, and continues to walk down the "passage" as the others swim.... Juleen follows closely behind Joseph whispers to Juleen, "I had to take her with me, she is the closest one to Errin." Trinity notices Joseph whispering to Juleen, and looks puzzled at him, not quite making out what he said After quite some swimming another current sweeps up Juleen says, "this one seems stronger..." Joseph nods Joseph lets himself float with the current Trinity follows Joseph Juleen holds on to Joseph Juleen jumps into the current with him, holding his hand As we are swept a big distance the current stops and a giant wall seems to close in front of us Joseph looks at Juleen, worried and yet comforted The wall is composed of three seperate walls Juleen gets closer to the wall... Trinity allows the current to take her, "landing" gracefully upon the "wall" Juleen touches the wall with one hand Juleen says, "What /is/ this?" Joseph says, "I guess this is the door to the heart, which Doctor spoke of" Trinity drifts, as if in slow-motion, to the floor, in a sudden burst of speed, she then attempts to pass through the "wall" The heart chamber is very big. Through the reddish clouds you can see the fleshy walls that make up this chamber. The door to the bigger chamber is open allowing easy passage. Joseph looks at Juleen and says, "I should be able to shift us out of time to get through this door..." Joseph starts writing equations in the reddish blood You are all alone in the small heart chamber. The door behind you snapped shut just before Joseph and Juleen could get thru Joseph finishes the equations and puts them on the wall The wall becomes transparent and Joseph and Juleen can see Trinity standing in a large chamber Joseph says, "Follow me, it won't stay open long!" Juleen follows Joseph very quickly Joseph squeezes through the little hole in the door Juleen goes in after Joseph Trinity looks around, "Good of you two to join me...." Joseph says, "Right. The next door should be easier!" Joseph swims to the bigger Heart Chamber Trinity grins at the other two Joseph says, "Sorry we aren't as fast in blood as you..." Juleen grins Juleen swims after Joseph Joseph swims into the large hear chamber Juleen glances at Trinity before following Trinity smiles at Juleen, "You better hurry to keep up...." This chamber is so large, you can't see the all of it's boundery. Again, this chamber has two doors and only the one you are comming from is open Juleen looks in amazement Joseph tries to make a joke, "I always knew Errin had a large heart", but fails misserably.... Trinity moves with great speed and grace, soon approaching the second door Joseph swims towards the second door Juleen follows up Joseph draws the same mathematical symbols again, and soon there is a small hole in this door too Joseph swims through the hole Trinity passes though the small gap in this door Juleen goes in, following Joseph Trinity takes out her two dirks once again, as she continues her movement onward After some swimming through a non-descript bloodvessel, the vein starts getting smaller... After some swimming through a non-descript bloodvessel, the vein starts getting smaller... Joseph says, "We must be nearing the lungs as Doctor told us" Joseph says, "We have to go into the lung here and find another bloodvessel back to the otherside of the heart." Juleen nods Juleen says, "Do you have any idea where to go?" Joseph nods as he points to the side of the bloodvessel Joseph starts casting his spell again Joseph opens a hole and swims through Juleen says, "Wait..." Juleen listens Juleen says, "I thought I heard something..." Juleen looks around Joseph says, "I think you are right..." Trinity still has her blades readied The hole closes again Juleen says, "I don't like this" The sound dimms Joseph says, "I think it was comming from in the lungs" Joseph says, "Maybe it's just his respiration comming back" Juleen says, "Yes, that must be it..." Joseph said without too much belief in his own words You say, "I just realized something guys" You say, "I can detect Errin's life force here" Joseph says, "That should be working..." You say, "That means his soul is not lost...." Trinity smiles Joseph says, "Life-force and Soul are not the same" You say, "Yes they are" Joseph says, "But I do admit that Life-force can't exsist without soul" Joseph says, "Well...We don't have time to discuss this here" You say, "Let us move further on" Joseph says, "Shall we get into his lung, or do you have a better idea?" You say, "Perhaps we should move on" Joseph starts casting his hole spell yet again Joseph swims through the newly created hole Trinity passes though quickly Juleen goes in quickly As you leave the bloodstream and enter the lung you see those fish creatures again. They appear to use their hands! You can see that the fish are carrying buckets and paintbrushes. They seem to be painting over the lungs. Juleen says, "oo, this one almost closed in on me..." Juleen looks around Joseph says, "I think our real problems are there", while pointing at the creatures The Fish are splashing a thick kind of tar all over the lungs Juleen says, "Oh, these things are still here..." Trinity leaps at the nearest creature, swinging a dirk at it's throat as she nears it Juleen says, "what ARE they doing?" Startled by Trinitys approuch it drops its bucket on the floor and dies shortly afterwards The other fish imidiatly drop their buckets and start flying off Joseph starts casting with equations again Juleen concentrates on her necklace and points to one of the creatures The fish-like creature stops in mid-air, not able to move from its place The other fish-like creatures try to flee in panic Being no match for Trinity's speed, she quickly moves up underneath another and jupms to just in front of it. The creature makes a feeble attempt to swign at Trinity, but she has already plunged a dirk into it's gut, and is it quivers in shock, she slits open the creature's throat, then quickly returns to the ground, the body quickly following and landing with a sickening thud Joseph is obviously busy in a very large spell The Tannar'ric Fish try to fly out of Trinity's range You say, "Juleen! I would appreciate some assistance with these!" The fish that was held is within Juleens reach Juleen says, "Calm your horses!" Juleen grasps the fish carefully and drags it down Joseph finishes his spell as the Fish are almost out of view. The equations follow them at lightning speed and when it hits them, they wink out of exsistance Juleen blinks once... twice and shakes her head Juleen says, "Wow..." Trinity looks at Joseph, "Displaced them in time?" Joseph says, "Well what do you know! They ARE Tanar'ri!" Trinity sighs Juleen says, "What did you do?" Joseph says, "Well...Assuming that they were Tanar'ri I can do a specific banishing, which is much easier than the general version" You say, "Is there a way to remove that gunk?" Joseph says, "I will be glad to tell you all about it later" Juleen nods Juleen says, "I still have one..." Joseph looks at the tar they have spread Juleen says, "we can ask it about the gunk..." Joseph says, "Assuming it can talk" Trinity takes some and rubs it in her fingers Juleen says, "I can read it's mind..." Trinity tastes it slightly Joseph says, "Are you a psionic?" Juleen says, "don't do taht!!!" Juleen says, "No... it's just a natural thing for me, I've always been able to do it." Juleen says, "It got me in trouble often when I was but a young lass" Trinity smiles at Juleen Joseph says, "This would explain his coughing!" Juleen says, "I,ll probe it's mind" Joseph says, "Well you can try, but I don't think it will work...." Juleen says, "There is nothing like trying" Joseph says, "I have made a specail non-psionic field around Errin" Juleen concentrates on the fish Trinity licks her lips slightly, and rubs her fingers a little, the slime disolving off of her fingers Juleen says, "It isn't psionic, I told you..." Joseph says, "Do you know what it is Trinity?" Joseph says, "You seem to have found a way to dissolve it" You say, "I may be able to do something about it...." Juleen looks at Trin and smiles Joseph looks interested at Trinity Trinity begins to chant softly, in dark words which seem to tear at one's soul.... A wave of cold washes through the room as the slime begins to dry and peal off the lung walls. In a few short moments, which seem to last a chilling eternity, Errin's lungs are clean once again Joseph says, "Can you solve this, dare I say it, sticky problem?" Joseph says, "Now let's get a move on!" Trinity is already proceeding on her way Joseph says, "We still have to go through the heart again and to the brain" Joseph opens another hole in a vein which seems to lead back to the heart Juleen says, "Should I kill it?" Joseph nods, "I think it is for the best" Trinity still has her invisible dirks readied, which still drip with blood as the rest of her.... Juleen takes out a ritual dagger and aposes it on the forehead of the creature and drives it in deeply, killing it instantly Joseph says, "I see dagger has become the favourite weapon in Sigil..." Juleen cleans the dagger and hides it again Juleen says, "It is a ritual dagger" Joseph says, "Maybe I should get my weapons ready for the nescesary change..." Juleen says, "I kill very rarely, it is not my way" Joseph dives through the hole and swims toward the heart Juleen follows Joseph After swiming a bit you find the door closed... You say, "Another...." Joseph opens a hole again and swims in confidently Juleen follows joseph yet again Joseph seems shocked at the sight he sees first... The heart chamber is full of ropes Trinity enters, gazeing about The ropes are attached to large hooks That are themself attached to the flesh of the heart Juleen looks around, not getting it... Juleen says, "What int the name of Tyr?" About 12 fish are poking large harpoons into Errins heart and fastening it with ropes, to make his heart function stop. Juleen shakes her head Juleen says, "NO!" Joseph says, "I am sorry....I would want to show you my weapons, but banishment is a lot faster..." Joseph starts writing equations once again Trinity instantly leaps at another fish-man, instantyl ripping it to shreds with several quick slices from her dirks Juleen says, "Would a Flamestrike be too much?" Juleen says, "I do not wish to hurt Errin..." Joseph looks up from his spell, "Inside the bloodstream?" Juleen touches her necklace and extends her fingertips to let four magic missiles sprout and hit a fish creature, killing it on the spot The fish-men begin getting harpoons to defend themselves Juleen says, "This is going to be rough..." Trinity slowly drifts away from the fish-men, not looking very pleased, dirks at the ready The Fish-men begin to advance upon the three adventures interrupting their work Juleen does exactly the same thing, hitting another fish that was charging at her, killing it on the spot... A fish charges Juleen, pinning her to a hert-wall with it's harpoon Juleen tries to shake out of the fish's harpoon grasp... You paged Se'ele with 'He'll be back in 10 mins, we are doing combat'. The school of fish advance on trin with their harpoons in their tiny hands. The five seem to form a circle, closing in fast on Trinity... Trinity twist quickly, attempting to doge the fish-fiend's jabs. She easily dodges the first, unfortunately just to have on plunged into her back. Trinity shrieks, seemingingly more out of rage then pain, and instantly twist to face her attacker, lunging upon him and burrying her dirks in it's shopulders, as she begins ripping it's throat apart with her hangs The fish that has pinned Jullen head-butts her in the guts As it removes itself, it feels a sharp pain in its guts too... Juleen removes her bloodied dagger from the guts of the fish and pushes it back, using it as a shield from the others Joseph tries to finish his spell more quickly to avoid being rudely disrupted by a harpoon or a head... Juleen says, "Joseph, you better do it quick!" At the sound of Juleens plea, Joseph skips a few culculations and makes a few educated guesses, speeding up the casting process The fish around Trinity try to stab her again with the harpoons One lunges for the legs, the other the guts and the last one, the head... Pi's Lambdas and Deltas start flying toward the fish with building speed. Juleen smiles As the fish get a marking on there side, making them look like cattle, they wink out of this exsistance. Juleen claps her hands happily and hugs Joseph Joseph wipes the sweat from his forhead, but then realizes it had already washed away by the blood... Juleen steps back and blushes, even though the blood around them doesn't let it show Joseph felt very stiff as you embraced him. You think he didn't know what to do and decided to give his muscles the command to hold position untill further instructions. Joseph says, "I think we should be concerned about the heart damage right now..." Joseph says, "You can cast healing spells, right Juleen?" Juleen nods Joseph says, "We should first pull out those harpoons and you should cast your spells as fast as possible" Juleen nods Trinity quickly drifts to the floor, and crouches.... Joseph says, "Will you help me pull them out Trinity?" Juleen swims up to a hapoon Trinity looks dazed, but nods Joseph says, "Trinity? You are hurt!" You say, "I'll recover" Joseph says, "Maybe we should think about healing her first" Juleen looks at Trinity Juleen spaces out for a second, but clears her head You say, "I am capable of it myself" Juleen says, "Yes.." Joseph says, "Are you sure?" Joseph says, "You seem rather badly hurt..." Juleen says, "Let me..." Trinity quickly starts grabing for harpoons, riping them out with quick yanks, almost as if in a trance or some bizarre dance.... Juleen backs off and looks at Joseph, inquiringly Joseph says, "No Wait...erm....Juleen!" Joseph says, "Start casting curing spells quickly!" Juleen jumps and proceeds to Joseph's orders and starts casting curative spells Joseph looks a bit panicy at Trinity Juleen says, "Not so fast Trinity!" Joseph says, "You are hurting him!" Trinity rips out the last one, then utters a prayer herself, again in a darklanguage, and places her hands on the gaping wounds, filling them with healing necromantic energies Juleen picks up the pace... Juleen says, "I feel... pretty... useless!" Juleen seems flushed Joseph says, "You feel useless?" Juleen is casting spells non-stop... Joseph says, "Good work Trinity..." Joseph says, "But maybe you could have warned us..." You say, "No..... Thank.. her...." Joseph says, "You scared me to death!" Juleen falls to her knees as the last of the wounds closes You say, "We must move on now though" Juleen falls over on her back Joseph swims over to Juleen Joseph says, "I think we will have to wait a moment" Juleen says, "I'm not.. a machine... I'll have you know..." Joseph tries to wave for fresh air, but then finds out how useless that is here... Juleen says, "I can,t cast ... like that... all the time.." Trinity walks over to Juleen.... Trinity staggers a little bit, but seems to grow stronger every moment Juleen tries to get up... You say, "You did good, are you feeling better now?" Joseph supports her Juleen nods and holds her head Juleen says, "Thank Tyr that He is with me..." Trinity tries to smile at Juleen.... Joseph says, "Good work, the both of you...I think he hardly lost any blood at all" Juleen smiles faintly Juleen says, "Let's go on..." Trinity offers Juleen a hand Joseph says, "Good pl...." Another current drags us out of the heart Juleen gets dragged by the current before ever touching Trinity's hand Trinity relaxes, allowing the blood to "consume" her.... As the current gets slower and slower, Joseph starts looking for his party members Juleen is drifting in the currents Joseph looks at Juleen Joseph says, "Are you ok?" Joseph looks around for Trinity Juleen says, "Yes..." Juleen says, "I hope this will come to an end soon..." Juleen says, "I wish to meet Errin...." Joseph says, "It should be comming to an end..." Trinity is still not in sight, maybe she drifted ahead Joseph says, "If I am correct...we should be near the neck vein now" Juleen smiles Joseph says, "Hmmm...Have you seen Trinity anywhere?" Juleen says, "no.." Juleen looks around Joseph says, "Maybe we should look around?" Joseph swims a bit upstream, but tries to stay in Juleens sight Juleen says, "I thought she was... with you..." Juleen says, "uh oh..." Joseph says, "She usually is faster then us..." Joseph says, "Let's look further upstream" Joseph says, "She seems to be a long way infront of us..." Joseph says, "I hope she didn't get sucked in the wrong direction..." Joseph looks at Juleen Juleen says, "What is it?" Joseph says, "Nothing...." Joseph says, "I just...." Juleen says, "yes?" Trinity is still nowhere in sight Joseph says, "Let's find Trinity" Juleen says, "yes, but why did you look at me like that?" Juleen says, "Is there something?" Juleen says, "that is bothering you?" Joseph says, "There is nothing you should be worried about" Joseph swims onward toward the brain Joseph says, "It was just an innocent look" Joseph says, "I assure you..." Juleen follows swiftly Juleen says, "Okay... I was wondering..." Juleen smiles back Joseph says, "It's just there is something about you..." Juleen says, "Yes?" Joseph says, "Something which makes me think about completed integrals" Juleen says, "em... I,m not that good with mathematics" Joseph says, "Something reminding me of the delicate transformations of magic" Juleen giggles and blushes Joseph says, "Ok...Other visual..." Joseph says, "You make me think of Celestial mechanics?" Before Joseph finds another way to describe it, Trinity drifts into view Juleen blushes Juleen looks ahead and sees Trinity Trinity smiles at the two, "Hello there" Juleen says, "there!" Juleen says, "Where were you?!" Juleen says, "We were worried!" Joseph looks a bit disappointed and yet relieved somehow Trinity continues to drift along, slowly.... Juleen says, "Are we near the brain yet?" Trinity smiles at Juleen, "I kind of got carried away" Juleen says, "I think we should be a bit more careful if so.." Joseph shakes his head, as if to wake up from a dream and answers, "We should be near it by now" Juleen giggles Joseph begins casting another spell... Trinity flips, instantly falling to the ground, her dirks in hand as she quickly advances forward A circle of symbols appear around Joseph Some of the symbols are brighter then others... Joseph points in the direction of the brightest symbols, "We should go that way" Juleen looks at the spell, amazed by it's orderly beauty The veins start to branch in smaller and smaller veins... Joseph keeps fellowing the brightest symbols After a while the vein is starting to get very narrow Joseph says, "I think we are the closest we can get from within the bloodstream" Juleen nods Juleen says, "We should take care not to do anything disorderly and cause a total chaos..." Joseph says, "I have no idea what we might find if I open something here" Joseph says, "Indeed...Spells should be restriceted to banishment or mind-affecting spells" Joseph says, "Or protection or healing ofcourse..." Joseph says, "For ourselves..." Juleen nods Trinity shrugs, "I have almost no spell capacity anyways" Joseph says, "You seem rather adept with spells too Trinity" Juleen says, "I'll charm a couple to my use it seems" Juleen winks Joseph says, "Hmmm...You did do something back in the heart and the lung" Joseph begins to blush a bit behind the ears... Joseph says, "Do we need any preperation?" Joseph says, "Anyone want to cast anything before stepping in?" You say, "Let us move onward...." Joseph looks at Juleen Juleen says, "No, I can,t do much in the protection department..." Juleen says, "Sorry" Joseph starts casting his hole spell again Joseph steps through the hole Surprisingly enough there is a large chamber behind the vein... Trinity enters the rift quickly When you step into the room, you see the grey gooy walls and in it's center a throne of some sort.... On the throne you see a firgure, she has a snake body, six arms, and definitly not as peacefull attitude as Julia You say, "That banishment would be very nice right now" The Marilith stands up from her throne and in a blasting mindlink tells you, "HUMANS? HERE? WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Juleen shakes her head Juleen grins You say, "Hmm, that is almost disturbing...." The Marilith yells, "Get that smirk from your face young lady!" The Marilith yells, "I have had more than enough of you insulence!" Trinity giggles The Marilith yells, "Stay away from this, You BAATZU-LOVERS!" You say, "Banish her now please, somebody?" The Marilith yesll, "I'm giving you three.... The Marilith yells, "OH NO YOUR NOT!" Joseph is writing equations as she speaks Juleen stands in front of Joseph, to protect him Trinity enters deeper, proceeding towards the fiend The Marilith glances at Joseph who now begins to move.... Joseph flies through the blood and speeds up, finally banging against a wall. Trinity keeps herself between the marilith and her two companions The Marilith readies her weapons You say, "Eeek" You say, "I can't fight that thing!" The Marilith yells, "So this is the best they could do?" Juleen says, "NOO!" The Marilith laughs, "thought not....I would expect the Baatzu to be more resourcefull..." The Marilith advances upon Trinity Trinity sighs and shrugs Joseph shakes his head from the blow You say, "This is not going to be much fun" The Marilith says, "Well maybe you should have thought of that earlier missy..." Juleen charges the Marilith with her ritual dagger... Trinity glances at Juleen, and gives her a knowing glance You say, "Stay back, give me suport...." The Marilith laughs at the attempt as she parrys the lunge with one of her six weapons Trinity backs up a bit from the fiend, still interposing her between the Marilith and the other two Juleen flies to the ground The Marilith says, "Before I kill you... I am curious" The Marilith asks, "What are you doing here, young priestess of Tyr?" The Marilith says, "Appart from worshipping me on the ground..." Juleen says, "The Just rule the Corrupt..." Juleen says, "WE SHALL BE VICTORIOUS!!" Trinity grins at Juleen The Marilith says, "So what are you doing inside here? Juleen waves a spell at Trinity... The Marilith says, "How cute....Protective magic I suppose..." Juleen says, "You wish" The Marilith asks, "How much did they pay you? Did they give you good souls in return?" Juleen says, "I work alone!" The Marilith smirks, "I didn't think you were allowed to bargain..." Trinity glows with a faint aura before taking a single step over ten feet and lunging her blades at the fiend Juleen says, "I am not corrupt!!!" The Marilith parries the first attacks with ease and continues her discussion with Juleen The Marilith says, "So why are you helping him then?" Trinity drifts off to the side, obviously anoyed Juleen says, "I... I won't say!" The Marilith says, "Priestly secrecy....Can you at least tell his rank?" The Marilith says, "Let me enjoy my day of glory... Is it a Pit Fiend? Juleen says, "What are you talking about!?" Juleen says, "grrrrrr...." Juleen is getting really angry The Marilith says, "Ok, obviously not....A Cornugon? Juleen says, "If you don,t stop it right now..." The Marilith says, "Come on....You can tell me that...I am not asking his name or anything.." The Marilith says, "He must be an high-up otherwise we would have him down long ago" Juleen says, "I'm doing it ..." Juleen says, "grrr... no!" Juleen hsakes her head Juleen says, "I won't say it..." The Marilith says, "Ok...here is the new bargain...You tell me who I am in, and you leave unharmed..." Juleen looks really mad... You say, "This is obviously going no where quick...." Juleen seems to waver an istant... The Marilith says, "You wouldn't want anything to happen to that floating guy over there" Joseph floats over to the Marilith Juleen looks ahead to the floating figure Juleen says, "Joseph, no!!!" Joseph looks what is happening The Marilith says, "Oh dear....He seems to be concious again..." Joseph starts floating toward another wall Joseph slams into the wall You say, "You meen this one?" Holding Joseph's body, somehow on the other side of the room, "I don't think so fiend...." The Marilith says, "Heroics...." Trinity sighs, "Pathetic games" Juleen says, "Stop it... I... I lo... grrrrrr..." The Marilith says, "You are giving me so much for so little." Juleen falls to her knees The Marilith frowns You paged Juleen with 'go ahead....'. You paged Juleen with 'if you want to attempt a spell....'. You paged Juleen with 'now would be the time'. The Marilith whispers, "Just the ranking....It won't hurt anyone..." The Marilith wispers, "Can't you see this is important to me?" Juleen hits the ground in anger... launching a creeping doom at the Fiend Juleen says, "RAAHH!" The Marilith reacts by opening her mouth.... A strange green gas is bubbling from her mouth In no time the chamber is filled with a killing cloud Juleen chokes Trinity has somehow moved once again, this time to the fiend's rear, planting her two blades into the marilith's back The Marilith is obviously surprised a little bit by Trinity's fast movement The Marilith seems to get het weapon rather close to parry, making the attack not more than a scratch The Marilith says, "That hurt! Now You ARE dead!" Juleen casts yet another spell on Trinity... Tha Marilith syas, "Normally I wouldn't do this...But you are special prey..." The Marilith seems very confused at the moment... Juleen waves and seems to change Golenpaz says, "RAAAAHHH!!!" Golenpaz smacks his beak and looks at the Marilith... Golenpaz says, "This will feel good! *smack*" Golenpaz takes his spear in hand, pointing it at the Marilith Golenpaz looks a bit psychotic at the moment Trinity darts back towards th fiend, slicing at her wrist in what must be a blink of an eye The Marilith is badly hurt because of her confusion....She shrieks in anger, "Betrayel! You have made a pact with a Baatzu! How could you!" Golenpaz says, "Never would I do that!" Golenpaz says, "I AM a Tanar'ri still!" The Marilith says, "And why are you driving me from it's body then?" Golenpaz says, "Why do you think we are with the Baatezu? *smack*" The Marilith says, "I am the special battle unit, send in the box to attack Gehenna!" Trinity licks her blades clean, then resheathes them Golenpaz says, "I would NEVER make a pact with a fiend of law... I am too proud for that..." Golenpaz says, "Well, this isn't Gehenna you sodding Marilith!" The Marilith says, "I am a special viral implant....Designed and reformed to infect Baatzu Bodies and kill them!" Golenpaz says, "This thing you infected is but a harmonium addle-cove..." The Marilith says, "Where The BLAZING HELLS AM I!" Golenpaz says, "Leave now and don,t make a fuss, better luck next time..." Golenpaz says, "This isn,t a Baatezu, sorry for trashing your dreams" The Marilith says, ""This is my prey! I was here first!" Golenpaz macks his beak in a superiority look... Golenpaz says, "Go home..." Golenpaz points to a way out, being anywhere The Marilith yells, "Now I am sure....This is a high-up Baatzu. I have succeeded!" Golenpaz says, "Hey, don,t make me make you leave, okay?" Golenpaz says, "You wish... I wonder how you got upgraded to Marilith in the first place..." The Marilith looks at Golenpaz with fiery anger Golenpaz says, "Such a leather-head..." Golenpaz still has his spear pointed at it... Golenpaz says, "Listen, this is a human harmonium from Sigil you infected, go infect something worth it like a Baatezu, it would make all Tanar'ri very ahppy..." The Marilith says, "May I remind you that the Marilith are in charge of tactics.... and this is a tactical affair!" Golenpaz says, "Then revise your plans, you aren't where you should be..." The Marilith cowers back, "A human?" The Marilith says, "Never!" Golenpaz says, "WOW!!! Thank you for listening!" The Marilith says, "He is much to powerfull. He resisted too long!" Golenpaz says, "Haven,t you noticed the least bit that the anatomy is clearly human and not Baatezu?" Golenpaz says, "So stupid... how DID you get so high in the chain of evolution?" The Marilith says with an offhand remark, "You know that I both find them repulsive?" Golenpaz says, "Maybe, but a Baatezu would be much more worth it than a simple human... no?" Golenpaz smacks his beak The Marilith tries to save her dignity with remarks, "And why the sudden interest in this particular human?" Golenpaz says, "Because... I have my own agenda..." Golenpaz frowns and says "Now leave, okay?" Golenpaz says, "Go infect a Baatezu, will ya?" The Marilith say, "Well I gladly give you this puny mortal, to be exchanged for a real Baatzu....Good luck...I hope YOU can handle this one!" The Marilith concentrates and frowns Golenpaz says, "I will hardly have to put as much effort as yopu to succeed" Golenpaz says, "LEAVE!!" The Marilith remarks, "The teleport function doesn't work..." Golenpaz says, "What are you talking about?" Golenpaz tries to teleport and sees that the Marilith is right Golenpaz says, "What's this screed!?" Joseph lifts his head Joseph says, "I think I can explain..." Golenpaz smacks his beak in anger... Joseph says, "This body is held in stasis" Joseph says, "Well actually in a time-dead zone" Golenpaz says, "I know that you old fool!" Trinity drifts over to Golen Joseph says, "Oh well...Just thought I'd jog your mind a bid" Golenpaz says, "Thanks for nothing!" Joseph darts to a corner Joseph looks in the mirror Golenpaz turns to the 'lith Golenpaz says, "Now could you leave?" Golenpaz says, "Go infect elsewhere" The Marilith says, "I will o greatness" The Marilith says, "Oh ye how knows all...I will be on my way... Golenpaz says, "Yeah, you do that..." The Marilith says, "As soon as my teleport ability is re.... Golenpaz says, "Trin... if she tries to do anything fancy, kick her ass..." The Marilith says, "Do you hear that?" The Body starts making noise Golenpaz says, "Hear what?" Golenpaz says, "Well, well, well..." Lungs suck in air....Heart throbs Golenpaz says, "This ol' carcass still lives..." Holy water comes running through the veins...WHAT! The Marilith teleports out very very quickly.... Golenpaz says, "Oh sod it!" Golenpaz changes back Juleen and Joseph quickly follows the Marilith, departing by use of their mirrors Trinity eeps, then vanishes Calculation Centre: Sterile Magic Room The Sterile Magic Room is a completely stripped room - the walls are a very bright white and completely featureless. The room is perfectly square, and in it's center sits a perfectly spherical hole of darkness, in which lies the husk of Errin's body. There is a bloodsack on a pole next to the sphere of darkness, with a bloodline running off into it, apparently disappearing on it's surface. Joseph says, "We teleported you out in time..." You see several priests around Errin Juleen says, "He's alive?" Juleen says, "Maybe the holy water will help clean out the Tanar'ri scum in him..." Joseph says, "And yes he is alive..." Juleen hugs Joseph Juleen says, "I'm so happy!" Joseph says, "The brain is not entirely flushed alas..." Joseph says, "We have to rely on the water absorbtion from the veins" Joseph says, "Good Illusion!" Juleen smiles Joseph says, "I was very convinced!" Juleen says, "I'm a great actress, no?" Julia looks at Juleen in a strange way Juleen giggles and blushes Joseph says, "Yes", in a strange tone. Joseph says, "We will have to post our findings across Sigil" Juleen says, "indeed!" Joseph says, "Maybe more people are affected by the Tannar'ri" Juleen says, "I hope not!" Joseph says, "They will have to get holy water injections....If only I knew before" You say, "Joseph, on a more serious note, we still need to retrieve Errin's soul...." Joseph says, "You are right..." Juleen nods Joseph says, "But I don't know where to start" Joseph says, "Infinite spires don't lead to good equations" You say, "I am sure you are very capable, maybe talk to Juleen here, since she was involved as well" You say, "But I must depart, please keep me informed Joseph" Juleen nods Juleen says, "And I as well..." Trinity leaves Joseph says, "Good Bye" Juleen kisses Joseph on the cheek and blushes Juleen says, "good bye..." |
